Full Moon in Sagittarius — What Is Your Truth?
It’s that time of the month again…May 29th marks our next Full Moon! Traditionally thought of to be a time of endings, but if you’ve been following my writings, you know that I see this as a change of energy. This is a time where things come to fruition before morphing into the next phase. I think of full moon’s as a time for harvest — reaping rewards from the effort you’ve put in.
There is always a general theme or area of life affected by each full moon. The Full Moon is essentially the brightest night of the month. The moon is literally shining light on what you couldn’t see before. In Sagittarius, this Full Moon will be about… Your wisdom. Your abilities as a Great Teacher. Your philosophies. Your desire to expand your inner world. Your ideas on religion and culture. This moon also aspects both Mars and Saturn, so the underlying energy is “GO”. Your philosophies and your mindset are shifting. Realize that your mind gives you the greatest potential to create and build. Build something you *believe* in. Create from your most spiritual truth — not others’ truth, YOUR truth. When you take action from *your* sacred space, you can never go wrong.
Aries / Aries Ascendant — Have you been working on your inner world lately? Now is a time where your spiritual studies and efforts will really start to show themselves in your life. Think about the past 6 months, how has your philosophy changed? How has your mindset changed? How has your spiritual identity shifted based on your interactions with the outside world? How can you use your experience of different cultures and philosophies to help others? Your experiences will help you see what you have to offer (and teach) the world around you.
Taurus / Taurus Ascendant — What limiting beliefs do you have surrounding money? How have you let other people in your life control your money and resources, or, how have you been controlling shared resources? Yes, money might seem tangible, but it is actually more of an energy. Money can not define you or the predicament that you find yourself in. What you’re actually looking for is value. What do you truly value? What values speak to you on a spiritual level? It’s time to shift your focus there.
Gemini / Gemini Ascendant — There could be a change in your partnerships or the way you relate to the world around you. How have your philosophies and ideas affected your closest relationships in the last months? Does your mindset still serve you? Or have you noticed that it might be a bit outdated? Now is the time to redefine your beliefs and ensure that they align with your actions. Don’t forget about your most important relationship, the one you have with yourself.
Cancer / Cancer Ascendant — If you could set up the ideal work (or health) routine, what would it look like? How would you spend each hour of your day? What fears and beliefs might be holding you back from your ideal work or home life? Now is the time to get rid of the “old” ways and create a philosophy that works for you. And for you only! You might also find inspiration through travel or other cultures at this time.
Leo / Leo Ascendant — If you’re searching for the love (or party) of your life, now is the time to switch things up. Have you been looking in the same places? It could be time to travel to a new location or something totally different from what you’re used to. Maybe your ideas around dating need re-evaluation. Maybe your philosophy is outdated. Whatever the case, know that you are your own solution to the problem.
Virgo / Virgo Ascendant —There could be a change of energy surrounding your home situation. Perhaps you’re moving, or you have new roommates moving in. Maybe there are shifts in your family unit. I know this might be harder said than done for you, Virgo, but now is not the time to get stuck on the small details. Thing big picture — what will matter in five years? Hell, five months. Enjoy this time you have.
Libra / Libra Ascendant —What have you been brewing up over these last few months? What ideas have you been journaling about? In case no one has told you, it is safe to let your ideas out. It is safe to speak your truth. Again, that is *your* truth. For so long you have kept your personal philosophies locked up, for fear that others won’t understand. They won’t, and that’s okay. But you won’t be okay if you don’t start speaking your truth to whoever will listen.
Scorpio / Scorpio Ascendant —How can you stay true to your personal values and philosophies? In what ways have your values changed? Now is about using this experience to build value for yourself. Value doesn’t necessarily equal money. This could be a business, a home, or pretty much any goal. But this Full Moon is about using *your* experience and *your* truths to define what you value enough to build. You’ve put in the research and now it’s up to you to run wild with it.
Sagittarius / Sagittarius Ascendant —Who are you? What is your personal philosophy? Is it something that others *see* when they meet you? How has it changed over these past few months? Now is a time for adjustment. Let the “new” you be seen. And it’s not necessarily a new you, but a refined you. Your opinions and ideas are important. In fact, they’re exactly what this world needs right now. Let your ideas be heard. Let everyone see how your culture/background/experience sets you apart. Let yourself be seen.
Capricorn / Capricorn Ascendant — Have you been putting yourself on the back burner? Meaning, are you making decisions based on *you* and *your* ideals and goals? If not, this Full Moon is begging you to dig deeper and figure out what is holding you back. Maybe it’s time to change your philosophy. Maybe it’s time to appreciate your differences that set you apart and make you, you. Whatever worries you’ve been stuffing down won’t just disappear. Instead, stay true to yourself and use those fears to transform your current situation.
Aquarius / Aquarius Ascendant — Take a look around your inner circle? Do the people you surround yourself with align with your highest truths? Now is a time where you might be considering your friendships and your future. There might be a few friendships that you’ve outgrown, and that’s okay. It is okay to decide that you can only surround yourself with people (and ambitions) that align with *your* truth and your philosophies. This doesn’t mean drop anyone who argues with you. In fact, this Full Moon is more about opening yourself up to new friends and experiences. Hang out in neighborhoods you’ve never been to. Travel and make friends in new countries. Your network is wider than you know.
Pisces / Pisces Ascendant — Your career could be your mind’s focus right now. How can you advance? How do you want to be known (and remembered) when it comes to your career? Does your career align with your interests and philosophies? If not, it’s never too late to make a career change. How can you create a career that better aligns with you and your truth? If you do love your job, you might find that you’re ready to take the next step. Maybe additional training or certifications are what you’re looking for? Trust that you’re more than prepared for whatever is coming.
